History

It was the 1960s when Grandpa Rocco moved to Canelli, in Regione Aie, finding work as a sharecropper. With dedication, he began to cultivate wheat and durum wheat and, thanks to a small pre-existing vineyard plot, he started making wine for personal use and for a small circle of customers.
In the 1980s, Grandma Carmela took over the management of the farm. With the support of my parents, she planted 2.5 hectares of vineyards, selling the grapes to other wineries and reserving a small production for the family table: wine (which she called "miero" in the Lucanian dialect) was never to be missed!
In the 1990s, the company passed to my mother Angela, who continued the activity with the same constancy and passion.
The real turning point came in 2013: together with my family, we decided to purchase the entire lot of land (until then rented), expanding the company to 6.5 hectares of vineyards.
In 2017, I, Daniele, officially took over the reins of the company. In 2019 we built our small winery and, after years of commitment and preparation, in 2023 we finally started our first true professional production.
It is the fulfillment of a dream begun three generations ago
